Fashion shows are a presentation of a designer's, or store's, clothing line. Fashion shows coordinators are tasked with numerous responsibilities, including casting the models; making sure that all of the outfits are ready; decorating the venue; publicizing the event; assuring that the runway is set up properly and that the show starts on time. Secure a location for the fashion show. Some shows are held in tents, specifically constructed to host a fashion show during fashion week in cities such as Paris, Milan and New York. Some designer shows are in warehouses, while others have shown in even private homes. As the coordinator of a fashion show, you must talk to the designer and get an idea of where, and how, he would like the collection to be presented.
